About Us

We joined forces in 2018 under the banner of The Aaron Partnership but in 2020 set up on our own to focus on mortgages and protection. Situated in the centre of Salisbury, we have comfortable office space conveniently placed near parking and the City Centre. We aim to help you understand the process and offer solutions for your individual needs and circumstances. We do not charge a fee for our advice and we are very fortunate that we maintain our business from referrals from our existing clients and from the local professionals that we work with.

Paul McFarlane

I was introduced to the property world in 1992 as a local Estate Agent before becoming a Mortgage Adviser in 2007. I grew up in Salisbury and have extensive knowledge of the area. I also work with clients further afield in the UK. I work closely with local Estate Agents and Solicitors which is useful for both me and for my clients. I enjoy skiing and am a keen photographer.

Suzie Iles

I have been a Mortgage Adviser for over 20 years, firstly with a High Street Bank and then as an independent adviser for the last two years. In 2018 I completed my Diploma in Mortgage Advice and Practice. I grew up in Shrewton and then moved to Salisbury and know the area really well. I also have clients in other parts of the country. I am an avid football fan and can often be spotted on the terraces at Salisbury Football Club. I also enjoy travel and concerts.

Andrea Smith

Starting my career in Financial Services at the age of 17, I moved into Mortgages in 2016. I have spent that time working with complex mortgage applications, where clients did not quite fit the normal standard. I joined McFarlane and Iles in 2021 as I wanted to broaden my knowledge and help people achieve their dream home. I am a proud military wife and a mum of boys, so I spend most weekends stood at the side of a football pitch or walking our rescue dog Skye along Salisbury Plain.

Sonia Vaughan

A Salisbury person born and bred, I began my working career many years ago! I took the same path as many at Friends Provident and have been in the Financial Services industry ever since covering Life Insurance, Pensions & Investments and Mortgage administration. I have worked for Paul for 8 years and enjoy the variety of working in this fast paced environment. In my spare time I have 2 teenage boys to keep me busy and a couple of lively dogs.
